Saving Images to a Catalog
When an image is saved to a catalog, a yellow disk icon is displayed to the left of its file name in the Main Window’s File List Box.

To save images to a catalog:

  1. Select one or more image files in the Main Window File List Box.
  2. Click File on the menu bar or right-click on the selected file name(s).
  3. Click Save to Catalog. to open the Image Catalogs Window.
  4. If you have not previously created a catalog, enter a catalog name in the Create New Catalog Window.

  5. Click on a catalog name in the Image Catalogs Window and then click OK (or double click on a catalog name) to open the Save As dialog.

  6. In the Save As dialog select a folder and file name to which to save the image(s). If you are saving multiple images to the catalog, the Save As dialog will open for each image until all images are saved.

  7. Click Save.

Note: Each image you save to a catalog will be removed from the File List Box unless the catalog to which you are saving is currently open.

Note: You cannot save an image with the same file name and in the same folder as an image that currently exists in a catalog. In other words, you cannot overwrite an image that has been saved to a catalog. If you want to replace an image that has been saved to a catalog, you must first delete the image or remove it from the catalog.
