Configuration Folder
WARNING: When ScreenPrint Platinum
is closed it automatically deletes files in its configuration
folder. Therefore ScreenPrint's configuration folder must be a
dedicated folder that stores only ScreenPrint files.
DO NOT CHANGE THE CONFIGURATION FOLDER TO A LOCATION THAT
CONTAINS IMPORTANT FILES, because they will be
deleted when you exit ScreenPrint.
By default ScreenPrint's
configuration files, which contain the program's settings and any
catalogs you create, are
located in the \My Documents\ScreenPrint folder.
To change the drive and/or
folder:
- Click the Configuration
Folder button located at the bottom left of the
Configuration Window to open the
Configuration Folder Location dialog.
- Enter a new drive letter and/or
folder name or click Browse to open the Browse for
Folder dialog.
- Select a new drive and/or folder
and click OK.
Note: Clicking OK will save your new
configuration folder setting even if you click Cancel rather
than Save in the Configuration Window.
- To maintain your current program
settings and any catalogs you created:
- Close ScreenPrint.
- Open Windows Explorer and copy the
files and sub-folders under \My Documents\ScreenPrint to the
new folder you selected.
Note for advanced users: The
configuration folder location is recorded the file SPG.INI
located in your \My Documents folder. Any change to the
configuration folder location will be reflected in the SPG.INI
file.
