The Email function allows you to attach one or more images to an email message. Images can be emailed from ScreenPrint's Main Window after you capture an image, or they can be emailed immediately after pressing the Print Screen key.
The Email function works with any email client (Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.) installed on your PC that is listed in the Windows SendTo folder. The default location of the SendTo folder is C:\Documents and Settings\"User Name"\SendTo.
The E-mail function must be configured before you can use the Main Window E-mail icon. To configure the Email function:
Emailing Images After They Are Captured:
After you configure the E-mail function, you can attach one or more images to email messages by selecting them and then clicking the E-mail icon in the Main Window.
Alternatively, you can attach images to messages by doing the following:
Note: Your email client must be MAPI (Messaging Application Program Interface) enabled. This is the specification that enables an application to send and receive mail over a Microsoft Mail message system. This shoulld not be an issue if you are using Outlook and Outlook Express. If you are using a non-Microsoft email client (e.g., Eudora, Netscape, Thunderbird, etc.) and a MAPI error occurs when you use ScreenPrint's email function, see your email client's documentation to MAPI enable it.
Emailing Images Immediately After Pressing The Print Screen Key:
Select Email Only in ScreenPrint's Output box.
